AUTOMATED ASSEMBLIES CORPORATION
1 - NEW AZ-100HP HIGH PERFORMANCE ROBOTS FROM AUTOMATED ASSEMBLIES CORPORATION
FEATURE FASTEST PART EXTRACTION AND FASTEST CYCLE TIMES
2 - Clinton, Mass. (November 11, 1996)...Automated Assemblies Corporation will
display its new high performance part extraction robots at Plastics Fair,
Charlotte, November 12-14.
3 - The AZ-100HP Series Robots are believed to be the fastest three or five axis
servo part extraction robots available on the market today. Designed for use
with injection molding machines ranging from 85 to 610 ton capacity, these
models feature take-out times of less than one-half second, and overall cycle
times of less than four seconds. This performance translates to 900 molding
shots per hour or nearly 40 million shots over five years.
4 - The HP is equipped with a high performance helical rack and pinion direct
drive with continuous automatic lubrication applied to the pinion gear. This
direct drive eliminates the need for a belt or gear reducer on the Z-Axis.
Enhanced performance is achieved through the integration of higher speed, higher
torque AC servo motors matched with more powerful amplifiers and processors.
5 - The HP is available in vertical stroke systems of 26, 36, and 46 inches and
various axis and lengths to suit your application. These products are offered in
the three axis version with the Mitsubishi A2AS control system and in three or
five axis versions with controls manufactured by Adept Technologies. Automated
Assemblies Corporation offers the HP products with its own control enclosure,
application software, and outstanding documentation and service support network.
These robots are equipped with the industry standard SPI interface and are
designed, engineered, and manufactured at AAC headquarters in Clinton,
Massachusetts.
6 - Automated Assemblies Corporation is a leading supplier of robotics and
flexible automation systems to the plastics injection molding industry. AAC
practices concurrent design, engineering, and manufacturing techniques in
developing products ranging from simple pickers to the most technologically
advanced high speed robotics and automation workcells.
